About the Etsy Shop Icon (Logo) size
Etsy calls this image the logo; shoppers and sellers say shop icon. The size article recommends 500×500 px, and the About-section editor sets the floor: .jpg, .png or .gif, smaller than 10 MB and at least 500 by 500 pixels. Etsy does not support transparent PNGs. It says transparent areas turn black, so fill the background with a solid color before exporting a logo that has see-through corners. The icon is shown small, so keep the mark centered with some clear space and test it at thumbnail size. This is a separate image from the 400×400 profile photo.
