Prepare the Figma Profile Avatar
Center a face or logo and leave room around it for small circular displays. A sharp square source avoids unnecessary enlargement before Figma applies its own crop.

Start with an image that has enough detail for a 500×500 export. Enlarging a small source cannot restore missing detail.
