Choose the Right Output
PNG for Graphics
Use PNG for screenshots, text, logos, or images that need crisp edges. PNG is lossless but usually creates a larger file.
JPG for Photos
Use JPG for a smaller photo file that is easy to email or post. Transparent areas are filled with the background colour because JPG does not support transparency.
Practical Limits
Merge 2 to 12 files, with a 20 MB and 32 megapixel limit per source image. Those bounds keep the canvas responsive and avoid browser memory crashes.
