Fit keeps everything, Fill crops to the edges
Fit scales each image so the whole picture stays visible and pads the rest of the canvas: white for JPG, transparent for PNG and WebP. Fill scales each image to cover the canvas and center-crops what falls outside, so there is no padding. Use Fit for product shots you cannot afford to crop, and Fill for banners and thumbnails.

Decoding, resizing and ZIP creation all run locally in your browser, and the tool does not send your image files to an Instasize processing server. That makes it a sensible choice for unreleased products, client work and personal photos.
No account and no watermark
You can resize a batch without signing in. Because the work happens on your own device, speed depends on your hardware, and very large batches are best split up. The limits are 20 files per batch, 15 MB per file and 100 MB in total.

How do I resize multiple images at once?
Add your images (up to 20), enter one width and height in pixels, choose Fit or Fill, and press resize. Every image in the batch is resized to the same dimensions, and you can download the results together as one ZIP.

Yes. You can batch resize images without an account or a watermark. Processing runs in your browser, so there is no per-image charge.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Decoding, resizing, and ZIP creation happen in your browser. The tool does not send the image files to an Instasize processing server.
How many images can I batch resize?
Up to 20 images per batch, up to 15 MB each and 100 MB in total. For a bigger catalog, run several batches, or use the batch photo editor, which takes up to 200 photos per run.
What is the difference between Fit and Fill?
Fit keeps the complete source image and may add empty space. Fill covers the full output canvas and center-crops content that falls outside it.
Which formats can I use?
Upload JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF. Export the resized batch as JPG, PNG, or WebP. JPG uses a white background; PNG and WebP can preserve transparent space.
Can I resize by percentage or keep the aspect ratio?
This tool resizes to an exact width and height in pixels, not by percentage. To keep each image undistorted, choose Fit: the whole picture is scaled to the canvas without stretching, and any spare space is padded.
Will bulk resizing reduce image quality?
Shrinking an image discards pixels, but a high-quality scaling filter is used and quality is adjustable for JPG and WebP. PNG output is lossless. Enlarging an image beyond its original size cannot add detail, so start from the largest originals you have.
Can I batch resize images for Amazon, Etsy, eBay or Shopify?
Yes. Enter the size the marketplace asks for and the whole set is resized together. The Etsy, Amazon, eBay and Shopify size guides list the current recommended dimensions for each.
