Resize Every Frame, Not Just the First
Animation stays animated
A normal image resizer often saves only the first frame of a GIF. This tool decodes the complete animation, resizes each composited frame to the same dimensions, and rebuilds the GIF with its frame timing intact.
Use exact pixels or preserve the ratio
Enter a width or height and keep the aspect-ratio lock on to avoid stretching. You can unlock it when a destination truly requires exact dimensions, but changing the source proportions will distort the picture.
What Resizing Can and Cannot Do
Downsizing usually helps
Smaller dimensions mean fewer pixels per frame and can produce a smaller download. The exact size still depends on the number of frames, colors, movement, and how efficiently the source was encoded.
Enlarging does not restore detail
A larger canvas interpolates the pixels already present in each frame. It cannot recover sharpness or detail missing from the original animation, so inspect an enlarged result before publishing it.
How to resize an animated GIF?

Enter a width or height in pixels. Keep the ratio locked unless you intentionally want to stretch the animation.
