Compare the new file size
Reversing requires a re-encode, so the result can have a different byte count even though dimensions and frame count are unchanged. Keep the source when its encoding is more efficient.

Does reversing a GIF keep it animated?
Yes. The output is an animated GIF with the decoded frame order reversed.
Will the reversed GIF have the same duration?
Yes, subject to normal GIF delay clamping. The same frame delays are retained with their frames, so the total planned duration remains the same.
Does reversing change the dimensions?
No. Width and height remain the same as the source. Use the GIF resizer if you also need different dimensions.
Is the GIF uploaded?
No. Reversing and encoding happen locally in your browser.
