How to remove location data from a photo?

Select one JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 10 MB. The browser reads the file locally.

Step 2: Check for coordinates
Review the location section and warning to see whether readable latitude and longitude are present.

Step 3: Create a cleaned copy
Remove readable GPS and other embedded metadata by re-encoding the image in its current format.

Step 4: Verify and download
Check the verification message, download the separately named copy, and keep the original if you still need its metadata.
