One Precise Crop Across the Animation
Use pixel coordinates
Set the left and top offset, then the width and height of the rectangle to keep. The same crop is applied to each composited frame so the subject does not jump because different frames used different boundaries.

File size may change in either direction
Removing pixels often reduces size, but re-encoding can still produce a result larger than an already optimized source. Compare the measured sizes and use the GIF compressor when the byte count matters.

Can I crop an animated GIF without losing the animation?
Yes. Every decoded frame is cropped to the same rectangle and encoded back into an animated GIF.
What do left and top mean?
Left is the number of pixels removed before the crop begins on the horizontal axis. Top is the number removed before it begins on the vertical axis.
Can the crop rectangle go outside the GIF?
No. The controls are clamped to the source boundaries so every output frame has valid dimensions.
Does cropping happen on a server?
No. The GIF is decoded, cropped, and encoded in your browser and never uploaded for image processing.
