Fewer colors, same picture
PNG is lossless, so the tool shrinks it the way TinyPNG does: it reduces the image to a palette of up to 256 colors (PNG-8) and keeps the alpha channel, so transparent edges stay smooth.
Transparency is kept
Logos, cut-outs and stickers keep their transparent background and smooth semi-transparent edges. Nothing is flattened onto white.
You see the saving
Every file shows its size before and after and the percentage saved. If a result would not be smaller than your original, the original is kept.

Need an exact size?
Switch to Target size to get a PNG under a limit such as 100 KB or 1 MB. The tool lowers the palette first and only reduces pixel dimensions if it has to, and it tells you when it does.
How to compress a PNG image online?
