If you've never shot in front of a graffiti wall, then this is your chance to add a touch of spunk onto your feed. The word ‘graffiti’ is practically synonymous with ‘Insta-worthy’ at this point. On its own or as part of your background, graffiti art is the instant way to add some edge to your aesthetic.

This week, and every week, we support all humans who have been affected by hate in all its forms and those who we have lost to it. Know that the Chapel will always be a safe space for every person to be their true self. #transawarenessweek #transgenderdayofremembrance #transrights #humanrights #rothkochapel #brokenobelisk #barnettnewman Photo by Runaway Productions

*note* Photos are not permitted within the chapel* This is one of the most serene places to take pictures in Houston. Recognized as a major work of modern art, this memorial is dedicated to those who have suffered at the hands of hate. Try not to lose yourself in the remarkable beauty of its outside space, because the interior of this chapel is equally as impressive.

Inside, you’ll find a sacred space draped with 14 abstract paintings from the artist, Mark Rothko. Although photos aren’t permitted inside the chapel, there’s more than enough to work with on the outside.

3. Rosemont Bridge

Location: Buffalo Bayou

Calling all hopeless romantics! This pedestrian bridge is one of the most adorable places to take pictures in Houston. Aside from the love locks, there’s also a pretty spectacular view of the skyline since this bridge is situated right above Allen Parkway.

If you’re looking for a laid-back spot to take pictures with your lover (or maybe some solo shots with a city skyline), Buffalo Bayou Park is your best bet.

“If we were meant to stay in one place, we’d have roots instead of feet.” 👣✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One of my absolute favorite things about traveling is exploring new cities and finding new beautiful places. Whether it’s seeing one of the world wonders 🌎, or just exploring a cute little cafe ☕️, life is too short to stay in one place. Our world has SO many beautiful things to show us, but we have to be the ones to take the initiative. So book that flight ✈️, or train 🚆, or bus pass 🚌, and get going! No excuses. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @thesaltypremed just posted that she has been traveling more this year and I LOVED reading what some people commented. So tell me on here what your favorite trip was this year, and what your dream destination is! ❤️
