If you're tired of swiping through a cluttered home screen to find the app you need, creating a folder on your iPhone can help you stay organized. Not only does it make your apps easier to find, but it also helps you save time and increase productivity. In this article, we'll show you how to make a folder on iPhone.
The first step in making a folder on iPhone is to choose the apps you want to group together. Think about the apps that you use the most or that have a similar purpose. For example, you could create a folder for social media apps or for productivity apps.
Once you've chosen the apps you want to group together, you'll need to move them to the same page. To do this, press and hold one of the apps until they all start to wiggle. Then, drag the apps you want to include in the folder to the same page.
With the apps in the right place, it's time to create the folder. To do this, simply drag one of the apps on top of another app. This will create a folder with both apps inside.
Now that you've created the folder, it's time to give it a name. Tap on the folder to open it, and then tap on the name field at the top of the screen. Type in a name that reflects the apps inside the folder, such as "Social" or "Productivity".
If you want to add more apps to the folder, simply drag them onto the folder. You can add up to 12 apps to a folder.
To rearrange the apps within the folder, tap and hold an app until it starts to wiggle, and then drag it to a new position. To remove an app from the folder, tap and hold the app and drag it out of the folder.
If you want to move the folder to a different page, press and hold the folder until it starts to wiggle, and then drag it to the edge of the screen. This will take you to a new page where you can drop the folder.
You can customize the folder by changing its color or adding a custom icon. To do this, tap and hold the folder until it starts to wiggle, and then tap on "Edit". From here, you can choose a new color or select a custom icon.
Creating a folder on your iPhone is a simple way to keep your apps organized and easy to find. With just a few taps, you can group your apps together by purpose or frequency of use. Whether you're looking to boost your productivity or simply make your home screen less cluttered, a folder can help you achieve your goal.
