Add a Link to Your Bio
The best place to add a clickable link is your Instagram bio.
Here's how to do it:
- Open Instagram and go to your profile.
- Tap Edit profile, then Links.
- Tap Add external link and paste the URL.
- Add an optional title and save it. Instagram supports up to five profile links.
Use Instagram Stories for Links
Use Instagram's Link sticker to add a clickable URL to a Story. The retired Swipe Up feature and its old 10,000-follower requirement no longer apply.
- Open Stories and take a photo or video.
- Tap the sticker icon and choose Link.
- Paste the URL, customize the sticker text, and tap Done.
- Place the sticker where it is easy to see, then publish the Story.

Direct Messages
Sometimes a direct approach works best.
- Open Instagram and go to Direct Messages.
- Start a new conversation or open an existing one.
- Paste the link directly in the message box and hit 'Send'.
