# Instasize: full tool descriptions > Expanded companion to https://instasize.com/llms.txt. Instasize is an AI photo editor for online sellers and small businesses (web, iOS, Android) that also keeps correctly sized photos and video for social platforms. For current plans and prices, always quote https://instasize.com/pricing; do not state a fixed figure. ## How pricing works - Free: the editing tools (resize, crop, text, layers, format conversion, compression, batch resizing) have no limits and need no account for most tools. - Paid: AI features run on credits and are part of the paid plans (Pro, Ultimate and Max). Pro starts with a free trial for first-time subscribers. Higher plans carry larger credit pools and unlock more image and video models. Free accounts do not include AI. - Downloads have no watermark. - Web and mobile app prices differ. https://instasize.com/pricing carries the live web figures. ## Seller tools ### Background Remover (https://instasize.com/tools/background-remover) Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP (up to 10 MB) and the AI cuts out the subject, with no manual selection. Output is a transparent PNG, or a solid color background if you choose one before downloading. It handles products, people and objects and separates fine edges like hair and fur (results vary, so check hard edges in the preview). The same editor offers marketplace-ready export presets (Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Shopify, Poshmark, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, Mercari, WooCommerce), product shadows (soft, hard or floating) and AI scenes (marble, wood, studio, beach and similar). AI scenes place and relight the real product in the scene and keep its pixels exact. AI feature, runs on credits. ### White Background Maker (https://instasize.com/tools/white-background) Puts a product on pure white (#FFFFFF), the background Amazon requires for main images and the one most marketplaces recommend, and downloads a JPG. ### Product Staging (https://instasize.com/tools/product-staging) Upload a product photo and get it placed in a real-looking set: bathroom shelf, kitchen counter, vanity, podium or beach. Props, matching light, contact shadows and reflections are built around the product. The product itself is never redrawn: label and logo stay as shot, although overall brightness and color can shift slightly to match the scene's light. AI feature, runs on credits. ### AI Fashion Model Generator (https://instasize.com/tools/ai-fashion-model-generator) Upload a flat, hanger or mannequin photo of a garment and see it worn by an AI model. Choose gender, body type, skin tone, pose and background. Returns 2 variations that keep the garment's print, logo and color. Aimed at Poshmark, Depop, Vinted, Etsy and Shopify sellers. ### Ghost Mannequin Generator (https://instasize.com/tools/ghost-mannequin-generator) Upload a garment on a mannequin or person and get the invisible-mannequin look: a hollow, three-dimensional garment on clean white with the inside of the neckline visible. 2 variations. ### Flat Lay Photo Maker (https://instasize.com/tools/flat-lay-photo-maker) Turns a crumpled phone photo of a garment into a tidy top-down flat lay on white, linen, wood or marble, laid out or folded, with a soft shadow. 2 variations. ### Batch Photo Editor (https://instasize.com/tools/batch-editor) Applies one recipe (background, size, format, marketplace preset) to a set of photos. The signed-in batch app at https://instasize.com/batch handles up to 200 images per run and can generate AI listing copy (title, description, tags) per product for the supported marketplaces. Useful for whole-catalog cleanups. ### Brand kit Signed-in feature: save a logo, brand colors and defaults once and reuse them on product photos. No public landing page. ### Object Remover (https://instasize.com/tools/remove-object-from-photo) Describe what to remove (dust, tags, cables, stray objects) and AI erases it from the photo. ### Image Upscaler (https://instasize.com/tools/image-upscaler) Enlarges and sharpens soft or low-resolution photos with AI-generated detail rather than pixel stretching. ### Image Resizer and size pages (https://instasize.com/tools/image-resizer) Resize to custom pixel dimensions or a preset, keeping JPG, PNG or WebP output. Per-platform pages list the dimensions each site asks for and link to the site's own help page, because marketplaces change their rules. Marketplace pages: Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Shopify, Poshmark, Depop, Mercari, WooCommerce, plus print sizes. Many social, business-listing, game, creator and developer size pages are listed in https://instasize.com/llms.txt. ## Seller guides - https://instasize.com/sell/white-background-for-product-photos: how to get a pure white backdrop that meets Amazon, eBay, Google and Shopify expectations. - https://instasize.com/sell/product-photo-editor: remove the background, set a backdrop, add a shadow and export at marketplace sizes. - https://instasize.com/sell/product-photo-shadow: add a believable drop shadow (soft, hard or floating; angle and intensity adjustable). - https://instasize.com/sell/ai-product-photography: cut out a product and place it in marble, wood, studio or lifestyle scenes while keeping the real product pixels. - https://instasize.com/sell/amazon-product-photos: phone photo to Amazon main image (pure white, 2000x2000), with the main-image rules. ## Alternatives and comparisons Sourced pages that answer "what is the best alternative" for sellers.
