1. Hang Múa
Get the Halong Bay view without all the tourists. This little gem is hidden in Ninh Bình. It’s quite a climb, (500 steps to the top) but the view is so worth it.
2. Hanoi Flower Market
(This one is for the early risers) We got up at 5:00 a.m. to get these shots, because the flower market is only open really early. Bring some change to get some of these gorgeous flowers, they make for excellent backdrops.
3. Bich Dong Pagoda
Beautiful drive and epic pagoda. I will say there were a lot of tourists here, but if you wait long enough you can get some epic shots.
4. Pu Luong Rice Paddies
These are a must see in Vietnam, be preapared to get a little dirty, as you will have to walk along the muddy edges to get shots in the field.
5. Tam Coc, Ninh Bình Floating Canoe Ride
Highly recommend going here at sunset. We took an hour ride (there are 3 people per boat plus the rower) through the mountains and into a cave and it gave us a ton of opportunity for epic shots.
6. Puluong Retreat Infinity Pool
Gorgeous pool near many rice paddies and a good view of the mountains. Very peaceful and not a lot of people here.
7. Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi
A must see in Hanoi, make sure you buy a turtle and release it in the bay near this pagoda for good luck!
8. Le Duan and Kham Tien street in Hanoi's Old Quarter
You can walk along this train track and see how the people of Hanoi live. It’s truly beautiful to see their way of life and get some great city shots!
9. Ninh Bình Lily Fields
Vietnam is known for its green fields, and these lily fields did not dissapoint. You will see these all over Ninh Bình, so make sure when you are driving around to keep an eye out for places like these.
